The Vision

EPHESIANS 6, a non-profit organization based in Charlotte, North Carolina, began from the desire, dedication and determination of Mr. George Hudson and Eric Worthy, both residents of Charlotte. Good friends, Hudson and Worthy desired to create an organization that would enhance the minds and bodies of our youth through athletics, Christian fellowship, and commitment to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In October of 2004, after having coached a church league basketball game, the crystallization of the dream for EPHESIANS 6 came forth in the mind of founder George Hudson. The realization while coaching two basketball teams in a church basketball league, and having encountered numerous un-Christian like activities displayed by some of the players in the league, the parents, coaches, and game attendees on occasions, prompted Hudson to strive to have a Christian environment conducive for impressionable youth. Frustrated with the current atmosphere, Hudson decided to get an edge on the world's mentality of church basketball and create an entity that will manifest into the proper and adequate Christian growth all (players and their families) can benefit from.
 

He then approached his good friend, fellow Christian and co-founder, Eric Worthy, with the idea, and the rest is history. Both Hudson and Worthy collaborated on the new realm of basketball. A quest of introducing a realm of Christian athletics to a world that has never witnessed the phenomena named EPHESIANS 6. This ministry will be paramount in the future of our youth. There is a clarion call to either place or replace CHRIST in every entity that does not accept Him, and an acknowledgement that we must fight back to get the word out of all things that do not honor and acknowledge Him.

EPHESIANS 6 provides a sound Christian environment for our children in the realm of all athletic endeavors, spreading God's word throughout the community, galvanizing and enhancing the minds, bodies and souls of our youth through Christian based athletics and academics.

EPHESIANS 6 Facts

Colors:  Primary colors of Purple (for Rulership and Royalty in the Bible) and Red (for the Blood of JESUS, of which we are covered, protecting us all). The secondary color is White (for the Innocence and Purity of our Youth).
